Dynasty Rankings: WR to Fade in 2025

Dynasty Rankings: WR to Fade in 2025 With NFL free agency fading from focus, fantasy football enthusiasts are now fixated on the upcoming NFL Draft in April. Dynasty League trades are buzzing at the Fantasy Football World Championships (FFWC) as managers vie for the top rookie skill-position talents. Now is the time to move on from Dynasty Rankings: WR to Fade in 2025. While snagging a premier rookie wide receiver remains a priority, three veteran wideouts with inflated ADP rankings are worth steering clear of in 2025 drafts. Tyreek Hill (WR) Miami Dolphins Hill epitomizes the trap of drafting a big name in the early rounds purely for reputation. The 31-year-old, who once reeled in 119 catches and surpassed 1,700 yards in back-to-back seasons, saw his output plummet last year. He finished with just 959 receiving yards—30th among wide receivers—and averaged a modest 12.8 PPR points per game, landing as the WR18 overall in 2024 despite being a top-five pick in most redraft leagues. The uncertainty surrounding quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s health only amplifies the risk in Miami’s passing attack. Hill’s ADP of WR10 in early rankings feels like a steep overpay for a player coming off a six-touchdown season. I’d rather target receivers like Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Ladd McConkey, or Terry McLaurin, who sit behind Hill in ADP but offer better value. Jerry Jeudy (WR) Cleveland Browns Jeudy emerged as a surprise standout last season, finishing as the WR12 overall with 14.2 PPR points per game. His 2024 Pro Bowl campaign thrived under Jameis Winston’s aggressive play. However, with Winston now signing with the Giants in free agency, Jeudy’s outlook dims. At 25, Jeudy posted a career-best 90 receptions for 1,229 yards and four touchdowns, but his ADP of WR30 feels shaky, given Cleveland’s murky quarterback situation. If the Browns move on from Deshaun Watson and draft a rookie with their No. 2 overall pick, Jeudy could struggle with Kenny Pickett at the helm. Until the starting quarterback is clarified, Jeudy’s risk outweighs his reward in redraft leagues, making him a pass despite his breakout year. George Pickens (WR) Pittsburgh Steelers Pickens ended 2024 as the WR42 in PPR leagues, tallying 59 catches for 900 yards and three touchdowns. The inconsistent 22.4% target-share receiver now faces stiffer competition with DK Metcalf’s arrival in Pittsburgh. With an ADP in the low 30s, Pickens looks overvalued in an offense quarterbacked by Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson. If Aaron Rodgers opts against joining the Steelers, Pickens becomes a fade in Arthur Smith’s run-first scheme. I’d pivot to lower-ADP options like Chris Godwin, Jakobi Myers, or Xavier Worthy, who offer more upside. Pickens’ own lukewarm comments about the Steelers’ offense late last season should echo in the minds of fantasy managers debating his draft worth. Dynasty Football: WR Values to Target

With the 2025 NFL Draft just over a month away, three veteran wide receivers ranked outside the top 25 in ADP standings emerge as undervalued options for fantasy football managers in both dynasty and redraft leagues. Now is the time to swoop in and identify Dynasty Football: WR Values to Target. As the sports world turns its attention to the men’s NCAA Sweet Sixteen, savvy fantasy football managers can seize the moment to make trades. With dynasty leagues heating up at the Fantasy Football World Championships (FFWC), now’s the perfect time to act. Here are three veteran wideouts who stand out as prime value targets ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. WR Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fantasy managers in both dynasty and redraft leagues should zero in on Chris Godwin, a veteran wide receiver whose 2024 season ended prematurely due to an ankle injury in Week 7. After re-signing with Tampa Bay this month, Godwin’s mid-30s ADP belies his massive upside. Before his injury, the eighth-year pro racked up 50 catches for 576 yards and 5 touchdowns, averaging 19.7 PPR points per game. Remarkably, he was the WR2 overall—trailing only Ja’Marr Chase—through the season’s first seven weeks. Godwin’s connection with Baker Mayfield was evident, as he drew 62 targets (fourth-most in the NFL) before his injury. Despite concerns about his recovery and a new offensive coordinator (Josh Grizzard), his current ADP as a back-end WR2 or top-end WR3 makes him a steal. In 2025, Godwin could deliver WR1 production, making him a must-target in the middle rounds. WR Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs Rashee Rice’s 2024 season was derailed by a knee injury in Week 4, cutting short a promising campaign. Before going down against the Chargers, the second-year wideout established himself as Kansas City’s top receiving option, catching 24 of 29 targets for 288 yards and two touchdowns. When healthy, Rice is a WR1 thanks to his pairing with Patrick Mahomes. Recent updates suggest he’s ahead of schedule in his recovery. However, a potential suspension tied to an off-field incident has clouded his outlook, pushing his ADP to WR26. If found guilty, Rice could face a four- or six-game ban, which might drop him to the mid-to-late rounds. Even with that risk, his upside alongside Mahomes makes him a high-reward stash for redraft or dynasty leagues—a potential league-winner if timed right. WR Jakobi Meyers, Las Vegas Raiders Despite a lackluster 2024 for the Raiders, Jakobi Meyers quietly finished as the WR19 in PPR leagues, posting 87 receptions, 1,027 yards, and 4 touchdowns. The sixth-year veteran ranked 15th in targets league-wide (129) and stands to gain even more with the arrival of quarterback Geno Smith. While tight end Brock Bowers will remain the team’s top target, Meyers’s 23.5% target share is too significant to ignore. Over the past three seasons, he’s averaged 75 catches and 879 yards and totaled 18 touchdowns. With an ADP in the mid-40s, Meyers is a WR3/WR4 with WR2 potential, especially under new offensive coordinator Chip Kelly. If the Raiders don’t draft a first-round wideout next month, Meyers will stay their WR1, making him a reliable PPR option for 2025. His lack of competition for targets beyond Bowers only boosts his appeal. The 2025 NFL season is underway, but it’s not too late to get access to the best help out there! However, coming off an October ACL tear complicates his value. Additionally, Diggs has a reputation for being a mercurial player and he will turn 32 in November. It will be difficult for him to land a lucrative long-term contract, which may lead to a one-year ‘prove it’ deal in the $12-15 million range. Davante Adams was released by the Jets on March 4. Expect him to wait to see if Aaron Rodgers signs so they can get the band back together. UPDATE: That won’t happen as Adams signed with the Rams. Throughout his career, Tee Higgins has played second fiddle to Ja’Marr Chase. But one year after playing on the franchise tag, Higgins enters free agency in his prime poised to receive plenty of offers to be a team’s WR1 finally. He’s likely priced himself out of returning to the Bengals, who still have to work an extension for Chase.
Cooper Kupp Landing Spots

Cooper Kupp Landing Spots On Monday, February 3rd, Cooper Kupp revealed on X that the Rams intended to trade the seventh-year pro. I was informed that the team will be seeking a trade immediately and will be working with me and my family to find the right place to continue competing for championships. I don’t agree with the decision and always believed it was going to begin and end in LA. Still, if there’s… pic.twitter.com/XWmbGVscGy — Cooper Kupp (@CooperKupp) February 4, 2025 If his time in LA is done, Kupp will go down as one of the great draft picks in the Sean McVay era. A 2017 third-rounder, Kupp is a two-time All-Pro with 634 receptions for 7,776 yards and won a ring with the 2021 Rams However, Kupp hasn’t been healthy since that season and is seeing his efficiency metrics start to slide. Additionally, with a 2025 cap hit of over $29 million, the Rams will have a difficult time finding any trade suitors. Instead, it is more likely that Kupp will be released with a post-June 1st destination. That would allow the Rams to spread out that dead money hit over multiple league years. Regardless, if Kupp is indeed finished in Los Angeles, there will be plenty of WR-needy teams interested in acquiring his services. Looking at our 2025 NFL Team Needs, a dozen NFL teams have wide receiver as one of their top two needs ahead of free agency and the 2025 NFL Draft. Playing for a contender seems like an important factor for Kupp, so these are the top potential Cooper Kupp Landing Spots. Cincinnati Bengals – The Bengals just led the league in passing However, Tee Higgins is set to test free agency, which opens up a massive opportunity in Cincinnati. Also, the Bengals still need to extend Ja’Marr Chase, so waiting for Kupp to be released would be an important factor for the salary cap. Houston Texans – Stefon Diggs is a free agent and the Texans have almost no qualified depth behind Nico Collins. Houston also just signed former Rams’ assistant Nick Caley to be their offensive coordinator, which could go a long way toward attracting Kupp to a contender with a serious need. Washington Commanders – Fresh off an NFC title game appearance, the Commanders are a young team ready to take the next step. They also have one of the league’s thinnest receiver rooms outside of Terry McLaurin. Finally, Washington has a ton of cap space, which could come into factor if any team considered acquiring Kupp’s substantial salary. Pittsburgh Steelers – The Steelers also have little WR talent. And promising younger George Pickens could also be on his way out. However, the Steelers need to settle their more pressing quarterback position first. Having a dependable veteran like Cooper Kupp would be an attractive addition for the next signal-caller. Los Angeles Chargers – Perhaps staying home in Los Angeles could work? The Chargers certainly have a need and have an excellent young quarterback. However, they ranked just 19th in passing. New England Patriots – The Patriots aren’t contenders and ranked dead last in the league in passing in 2024. However, they have a hodge-podge receiving corps that could use the presence of a proven veteran safety valve. Kupp would be a superlative option for Drake Maye, who heavily relied on his tight ends in his promising rookie campaign.
