Christian Benford (CB) Buffalo Bills – Benford is in the NFL’s concussion protocol but was able to practice in a limited capacity Wednesday. That’s a good sign that he is trending toward playing this week. LB Matt Milano (hamstring) and S Taylor Rapp (hip) are also questionable. Sam Cosmi (RG) Washington Commanders – Big loss for Washginton’s offensive line. Cosmi tore his ACL in Detroit and will miss the rest of the season. Zay Flowers (WR) Baltimore Ravens – Flowers missed the Wild Card game with a knee injury and still has not returned to practice. At this point, he is looking very questionable about suiting up against the Bills. Even if he can play, Flower could be limited. Rashod Bateman is looking like the best bet to be Baltimore’s WR1. David Montgomery (RB) Detroit Lions – After sitting out the last four weeks, Montgomery was a full participant at practice this week. He is expected to be back in his usual role. This boosts Detroit’s postseason run and gives the Lions a pair of RB1s for the NFC playoffs. Joe Mixon (RB) Houston Texans – Mixon has been limited with an ankle injury but is expected to play Saturday. Nico Collins (WR) Houston Texans – Listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday. However, it appears to be a veteran rest day, so no concern. Isiah Pacheco (RB) Kansas City Chiefs – Full participant (rib) Tuesday. Dalton Schultz (TE) Houston Texans – Off the injury reports after being limited with a shoulder ailment. Tyler Higbee (TE) Los Angeles Rams– Higbee was sent to the hospital after coughing up blood concluding the Rams’ Monday night victory. However, Jourdan Rodrique of The Athletic indicated that Sean McVay expects his tight end to play on Sunday. Tyler Higbee (chest) was hospitalized last night because he was “coughing up a little bit of blood” said Sean McVay, but was able to make the trip home and McVay added he expects to play Sunday. — Jourdan Rodrigue (@JourdanRodrigue) January 14, 2025 Ray Davis (RB) Buffalo Bills – Davis has not cleared the NFL’s concussion protocol and is looking doubtful for Sunday’s game versus Baltimore. Robert Woods (WR) Houston Texans – Woods sat out practice Tuesday with a hip injury. However, the veteran was able to return to practice Wednesday, increasing his odds of playing on Saturday. Cade Stover (TE) Houston Texans – The Texans placed Stover (shoulder) on IR, ending his season. Irv Smith Jr. and Tegan Quitoriano will now be Houston’s reserve tight ends versus Kansas City. We will update Discord when news breaks. Jordan Love (QB) Green Bay Packers – Love exited Week 18 with an elbow injury and has been limited in practice. That sounds concerning but there isn’t much concern that Love will miss this game or be limited. We’ll keep an eye on it. Zay Flowers (WR) Baltimore Ravens – Dealing with a knee injury, Flowers has not practiced and is considered unlikely to play by NFL insider Ian Rapoport. However, Todd Monken said the team is “hopeful” that Flowers can suit up. However, with the Ravens being 10-point home favorites, we don’t think Flowers plays. UPDATE: Flowers has been ruled OUT. Ravens OC Todd Monken said he’s “hopeful” that injured WR Zay Flowers (knee) can still play Saturday but believes the team has the players who can step up if he cannot play pic.twitter.com/wRsIQ4Oz7P — Jamison Hensley (@jamisonhensley) January 8, 2025 A.J. Brown (WR) Philadelphia Eagles – Brown was limited Wednesday with a knee/rest designation. However, he’s expected to be a full-go for Sunday. J.K. Jalen McMillian (WR) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Full participant. Cade Otton (TE) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Otton missed the final two regular-season games with a knee injury but has been a limited practice participant all week. That puts him in a position to return to the lineup. Dallas Goedert (TE) Philadelphia Eagles – Goedert was a full participant and should be good to go. Quentin Johnston (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – Missed practice Wednesday due to illness. Justice Hill (RB) Baltimore Ravens – Cleared concussion protocol and practiced in full at Wednesday’s practice. Josh Palmer (WR) Los Angeles Chargers – Palmer missed LA’s regular-season finale with a heel injury and has yet to practice this week. Therefore, it’s unlikely that Palmer will have much if any, role against the Texans. UPDATE: Palmer is OUT. Sterling Shepard (WR) Tampa Bay Buccaneers – The veteran is dealing with foot and knee injuries and was limited. However, there is no concern that he will miss Sunday’s tilt. Malik Willis (QB) Green Bay Packers – Limited in practice with a thumb injury, but Willis should be fine to sit behind Jordan Love in Philadelphia.
